Diwali Celebration at HISP – A Day of Light, Unity, and Cultural Joy

On October 29, HISP hosted a vibrant Diwali celebration that brought together students, teachers, and staff in a day filled with lights, colors, and cultural richness. The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by the principal and senior faculty, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness. Students showcased the essence of Diwali through captivating dance performances and skits that highlighted the victory of good over evil, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.

As a special outreach, students from Grades 9 to 12 visited a children’s home and an old age home, sharing gifts and provisions, embodying the values of kindness and compassion. The day concluded with a spirited Dandiya dance in the auditorium, where students, teachers, and parents joined in vibrant folk steps, creating an energetic and joyful atmosphere.
